XPS Spectra

Spectra-Base #1

Requires a $50 donation per year to receive Passwords to access:

XPS spectra  (.SDP format)  7304 Data-sets

XPS spectra  (.VMS, .ISO, .TXT format)  3177 Data-sets

XPS spectra  (.VGD format)  7113 Data-sets

AES spectra  (.SDP, .NPL, .VMS  format)  2281 Data-sets

Passwords are needed to be able to download any of the Zipped Data-sets.

Spectra Data Processor (SDP) v8 is provided

free of charge for one (1) years.

SDP v8 opens, processes, exports, and saves all processing to permanent memory.

There are 54 self-training videos for SDP.

After the first year, a new one year license to SDP costs $25.00. Each year costs $25.00.
To purchase a permanent endless license to SDP for $300 by credit card, please contact bvcrist@xpslibrary.com.

All XPS, AES, and REELS spectra are owned and copyrighted by The XPS Library.
Please reference our website whenever publishing copies of any spectra or BEs derived from these spectra.

Detailed Description of Spectra-Base #1

 organized into

Individual
Chemical State GROUPS
or Industrial Product GROUPS

Requires a $50 donation per year to receive Passwords to access:

Because the same scientist used the same data collection methods and calibration BEs, all spectra are
“Self-Consistent”,
making this collection the most reliable collection of XPS and AES spectra currently available.

Each Chemical State GROUP (in a Zip-file) contains 5 to >100 Data-sets collected
from 5 to 100 different Chemical State Species
(Example:  sulfides, carbides, carbonates, oxides…)

Each Zip-file contains 10 to >100 different data-sets (folders) from that Chemical State

Each individual data-set folder contains 4-8 spectra from a single material
(Example:  SiO2, NaCl, GaAs, MoS2…)

Each Industrial Product GROUP contains 5 to >50 similar Industrial Products in each Group

NOTE:  The XPS Library is a Not-for-Profit Organization.  All donations are used to expand, develop, and maintain the Libraries of Monochromatic XPS spectra, the educational content, and the Job Opening lists for XPS scientists provided in “The XPS Library” website.

Chemical & Material Libraries

Requires a $50 donation per year to receive Passwords to access:

File Formats currently available:

  • Six (6) different file formats:  *.txt,  *.vms,  *.iso,  *.npl,  *.sdp,  and *.vgd,
  • ASCII-Text formats are:  *.txt,   *.vms,   *.npl,  and  *.iso
  • The *.iso  (also known as: *.vms, *.npl) format is the ISO 14976 file format, that matches *.vms
  • One hundred data-sets are available in the  *.spe or *.pro file format.
  • *.vgd data-files can be opened using Avantage software
  • Using Avantage, each .VGD spectrum can be converted into a *.TXT data-file by using: Copy (Ctrl-C) and pasted into Notepad, and saved as a ASCII-Text file.
  • A new .VGD to .ISO converter is now recently available

Spectra Data Processor, SDP, v8  software:

  • Imports *.txt,  *.iso, *.vms, *.npl,  and *.sdp file formats and also
  • Exports as (Saves as)  *.txt,  *.iso  and *.sdp file formats
  • Exports atom% summary tables as *.xls Excel files
  • Exports peak-fits as *.csv Excel files.
